Happy Halloween!

Rather a trick than a treat? Enjoy this hilarious Bollywood version of Michael Jackson's Thriller video, a song celebrating it's 25th anniversary today. I really love Bollywood movies (although usually without impersonations of Michael Jackson!). Did you know, that Thriller is still the top-selling album of all time? (I heard that on the radio this morning...).

Well, I know it's Halloween in BC because this morning I woke up at 7am to the sound of some punk teens setting off firecrackers. (I assume it was teens - it could have been construction workers from the building across the street or even hobos in the alley I guess). I don't really understand the association with Halloween and firecrackers here - I mean, Devil's Night would be ok with me, but then again my fellow Vancouverites don't seem to know what I mean when I mention that! Think of all those unsoaped, egg-free windows and trees without toilet paper!

Hope you all have a safe and fun Halloween! Dish out lots of candy and remember to eat your share too. And if you still have a sweet tooth tomorrow don't forget to scoop up some cut-price treats!

It totally takes me back to my Indian roots;) The red leather outfit, facial paint, and the sexy dance moves will make a great Halloween costume next year. Almost as good as Horatio Caine!:)

Glad you liked it Jas! ;-) I don't know what I like more - the red pleather or the misfitting wigs! Or the fact that the choreographer obviously didn't study the original moves!! Or maybe even it's the fact (as in Thriller) that the zombies only move at their typical glacial speed when fancy dance moves aren't required - then they can step it up!! ;-) I could watch this over and over!

Loved the video. I think I saw the original for the first time in PG at Jamie's 6th birthday party in McDonald's. Wow, what a memory, eh!!!

I'm glad that a video as bad as this could conjure up such a good memory Bonnie! I actually remember my parents having the Thriller album, a testament to popular it was, as that album was a big departure from the rest of their collection of stuff like CCR & The Doors!
