Um... What do you think?

OK, so everyone who knows my own love of high and exotic shoes might scratch their heads at this coming from me, but here goes... I really don't think that "sexy" high-heeled crib shoes are a good idea for a baby!

The heels are supposedly soft, and really they are tragically funny (in a baby cougar sort of way), but good gravy, this is one reason why I'm glad we have a little boy! They really do try to start little girls out fast on this kind of stuff, eh? What, no low-rise jeans or push-up bras for babies yet?

Maybe I'm too uptight? What do other Mom's think? Are these cute and harmless fun or are they heading towards the whole 'prostitot' category?

Prostitot! I love it. And I agree wholeheartedly with you. Kids even in kindergarten are dressing way past their years. If it starts as young as 5, it's hard to say no to them at 15. Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!

These are wrong on so many levels! It is almost like babies are being viewed as accessories like the Paris Hilton-type dogs. . . . let's dress them up in ridiculous outfits because it's fun!! Awful.

With a new baby girl I am all about fabulous shoes for her but I think we will do without the pointy high-heels!

I totally agree here- little girls are not allowed to just be little girls anymore- the have to be mini-adults right away. Horrible.
(I too think your use of the term Prostitot is hilarious btw!)
