Little Hoot

Cole and I hit up the central library earlier this week for some free books and a couple of new library cards. Conveniently, I seem to have lost my old card (which had some fines owing) and can't even remember my login on the good old Internet, so I got to get a new one. Cole was offered one from the kindly librarian, so he now has one as well! Lucky kids - they don't get fines! I am sure I've single-handedly built a new wing with the overdue charges I've paid over the years.

We also stopped by the Bookmark shop at the Library and bought a copy of Little Hoot, the most adorable book about a sleepy owl who just wants to go to sleep. Check it out - very sweet. I couldn't resist - it's a great twist on the going-to-bed story, the drawings are lovely and the little owl looks like Cole! I think so, anyway...
