Cole and I met Jamie on Tuesday for a great urban picnic. Our lunch was delicious - if I do say so myself. Alas, I didn't make any of it. But I will take credit for scavenging it from Whole Foods! ;-) Tuna wraps, asian coleslaw, cucumber and fruit salads, with sparkling French lemonade. Oh, and a coconut macaroon... Yummy.Cole came out to play as he likes to do during meals out of the house. He had a great time pretending to stomp on our lunch!
I wouldn't want anyone to think all I do all day is picnic though. I also shop! ;-) Kidding, but not on that day... I found Cole a couple pieces of clothing from Old Navy when I was out getting lunch - they have a sale now, as always, it seems. The store at Park Royal in West Van has tons of stuff. Particularly if you have a baby girl or a toddler. We found some cute things though - a little pair of lined pants for the Fall and a cute linen shirt for next summer. I almost always refuse to pay full price for baby clothes, just because they always go on sale, so why not wait? Unless we're hard up for something in particular, or it's a gift for someone else and I indulge my shopaholic tendencies, I prefer to scout out the deals.

I love the picture of Cole stomping in the lunch! And with a proper pair of slacks he's looking ready for a job "downtown"!
I love the picture of Dad with Cole@:) What can I say sooo cute!!!
Great idea Miranda...an "Urban Picnic" I think you could sell that idea somehow:)
A great way to see "Dad" during the day!
Thanks Bonnie! Also it's a great way for Daddy to get a decent lunch! You hear that Jamie - instant Kim chi noodle bowls are not real food! :-)
