we went down to white rock - our favourite place for fish & chips is coney island on the white rock strip. before we ate we took a little walk on the sand - the tide was out and we found stones to chuck and seagulls to dodge. cole had a blast running on the sand, making handprints and waving to the folks passing by on the amtrak train bound for southern destinations unknown (but probably seattle).
after the most delicious fish & chips they brought the bill and left two swirly mint candies and an enormous orange lollipop, which i promptly hid in my purse. but cole caught wind of the situation when he saw some other kids get their lollies and the jig was up.

What is up with you and the pants?!?! Do you lounge around pantless or something? It's come up multiple times, so I have to ask.
definitely, we're one of those pantless families of weirdos.
nah - i just wear really really ugly and comfortable pants in the house - think old pilly yoga pants. the kind i don't want to leave the house in, so when it comes time i have to find ACTUAL pants. ;-)
funny I was thinking the same thing about the pants!! aha - I wear those too (and a housecoat ALOT!) Sounds like a fun trip - we love to do the same!
