coco has been getting a lot of use out of his "bike" lately - he wants to bring it everywhere. it's seen action at the grocery store, the library and along many sidewalks. oddly, it's easier to keep him moving from point a to point b on the bike, compared with walking/wandering/stick collecting. he rolled along the sidewalks of davie street today, happy as a clam, garnering plenty of attention and only injuring a few feet.
he uses a wooden pine tree in the handlebars as a key and tells me of all his grand adventures, real and imagined. he's pretty well outgrown it - his legs are so long that he trips himself up if he's going fast. i have a swell new balance bike waiting to be assembled and a new helmet ordered, but i think it will be a while of overlap still as he's crazy for scooting around on this wee one.

Awesome! I'd never think to bring the bike, but if it works to keep them moving, I'll try it! Can't wait for the kids' first bike ride together.
cute pictures@:) that little bike is so handy even if it is a little too small for him.
it's been the best bike bonnie - the perfect size for learning! he loves it and people love to see him roaring up. ;-)
Yay bike riding! That's wonderful to be able to ride all over town :)
