read this one again!

coco got a new big boy bed recently. it was about time - considering his horizontal sleeping style he was ending up falling half out of bed all the time in his old one! the new bed, that flipping low preschooler bed / bigger kid bunk & nook deal from ikea, also works with his love of forts and is for some reason is the most comfortable bed in existence! every time i go in to snuggle with him i end up falling sound asleep. i hope he doesn't mind the drool puddles on his pillow!

he also is continuing on with his love of books. he recently got a copy of tacky the penguin for his birthday (thanks alli!) and he requests it morning and night. when i asked what he liked best about it (a story about a penguin who is not quite as proper as he could be), he pointed to the bow ties the penguins were wearing and promptly requested a yellow one. he's poring it over himself in the photo up above. the next morning when he asked to read it again we got to a page that he'd dog-eared, about halfway through.

love to see him doing what i spent so many nights doing as a kid!
