Back to the basics
I needed something crafty to do with my hands this week while watching copious amounts of election coverage on TV. I'm less inclined to become apoplectic when watching stressful things if I'm doing something that diverts at least part of that steam towards a productive activity. Same goes during the hockey playoffs (during which I usually knit scarves) except then, instead of cursing, I mutter about the fact that someone who's paid x million dollars should be able to score a goal...
But, I digress... One positive result of this excess of fidgitiness on Sunday night was a new bracelet.
I have a disturbingly large collection of semi-precious and vintage glass beads that are all languishing in a tackle box because I'm not in the midst of a jewelery-making craze, which was definitely the case a few years ago. But that does mean that when inspiration strikes, I have the supplies... Another victory for compulsive craft supplies hording!
But, I digress... One positive result of this excess of fidgitiness on Sunday night was a new bracelet.

Gorgeous!!! Love the way you put things together, very striking!
That is beautiful Miranda, very simple.
it looks kind of floaty & artistic with the different sizes & colors. With your talent, you could be making & selling them! (or giving them for gifts!)
Oopa, I DID fill out "Mom", but somehow it turned into "anonymous!"
Good to hear from you "mom" @:)
Thanks Mom!
