Mr. Curious is on the move

I've been so astounded lately in watching Cole's development. Right around the six month mark he made such a huge leap, both mentally and physically. He seems to be really getting it so much more, and his quirky little personality is showing through more each day.

He's also become very mobile! After spending the last six weeks or so creeping, he's started getting up on his hands and knees and crawling. Just a little lurching bit at a time now, often for exploring things and he still creeps to get around quickly. He can sit up for ages on his own, twist himself up into a mostly-sitting position from his tummy and he's definitely interested in exploring everything. We had a good time in the kitchen yesterday banging measuring cups on the floor. Nice and noisy!

For some reason, the bathroom holds some weird allure for him - he crawls in there every chance he gets, even though I'd imagine that the cold tile floor can't be enjoyable on his tummy. He used to go straight for my feet while I'm getting ready for our morning walk - now he does that, gives my socks a little suck and then scoots past me in a beeline for the toilet... Is he telling me something? :-)
