Such style! Such panache!

I had to get some of these adorable Baby Banz sunglasses for Monsieur Cole. With him facing forward in the Bjorn now, at times it seems to be too sunny for his little eyes - even in his parade of tragically cute hats. We could not stop laughing at how hilarious these are on him. Strangers seem to find them as funny as we do - on our walk along the seawall this evening he got lots of compliments and laughs. Even a "check it out - that baby's wearing shades" said from one thuggish looking guy to his friend.

We found some cute toys when we were in Crocodile, including this adorable soft monkey from miYim. He's made of all organic materials, is so soft and is the perfect size for Cole. Don't they make the cutest pals?

I also found Cole a soother tether. Not sure what you call the gadget that keeps the soother from hitting the ground? I had been looking in all the drugstores for one, which several people have assured me is where they had gotten theirs, but no luck. So I bought this one yesterday - it's made by Haba of wood, perfect for a little toy as well. I don't care so much in general about the soother falling out at home - we have lots of them - but in a restaurant or on a walk in the Bjorn this is handy. Of course after I got this one, later in the day I was picking up photos at London Drugs and they sold really simple, cheaper ones there. Rats! Oh well - enjoy your wooden soother tether Cole! :-)

And lastly, we found this gongle doodad for Cole's carriage. Something for him to play with when we're out and about. When he's awake, that is - the does enjoy a good stroller snooze! I call it a "gongle" because that seems like a suitably ridiculous non-word for such a goofy creation. Jamie thought that stood for "God awful", but I didn't put that much thought into the word! Technically it's the Zolo Linki Chip from Kushies. Whatever it's called, enjoy Cole!

He looks so much like Jamie in these shots! And he has grown so much. I love how there is a strap to hold the glasses on properly. Very clever. Looking forward to seeing you guys.

What a hip little grandson we have...I can see how Cole would get lots of comments about those cool shades and of course very functional with the strap to hold them on!

I see you have found some great toys and such...that little monkey is precious! You guys are certainly having fun with little Cole@:)
